Wiki Removal of wart

Physician did a debrediment of a palmar wart in the office using a debridement kit.
Note stated she has a 8mm lesion on the palmar aspect of the wrist. Sterile conditions were used and this are was debrided.
I am confused as to which cpt code to use. Any suggestions?

if the physician documents that the wart lesion was excised, you would need the size of the lesion excised and the amount of margin removed, along with closure method then you can bill for the excision codes based on total size of the lesion including the amount of the margin removed. If it was a cryotherapy ablation, then regardless of the size, you must bill for the destruction by any method 17110 - for 1-14 lesions or 17111 > = to 15 lesions. Debridement of the lesion - if this was just trimmed flat, is included in the ablation or destruction code, and also in the ecision codes by size -as excision would include any debridement done.
