it was not infected.... There was no pus identified and Gram stains were
negative.
The graft was removed and a Jackson-Pratt
drain was placed into the tunnel through a separate stab wound below the knee
incision. It was sewn in place with 2-0 silk suture. The wound at the knee
was closed in multiple layers using running 2-0 Vicryl in the subcutaneous
tissue and staples on the skin.
