Good morning,
I have a case where a patient had a foley placed for/during surgery - by a GYN physician. When this same GYN tried to remove it, she could not. They called in URO and he removed the catheter. This is his note:
"Foley was unable to be deflated, balloon cut and still unable to deflate, I placed rigid end of sensor tip wire balloon port opening and decompressed balloon and removed it. Patient tolerated procedure well."
Can anyone help or guide me toward the correct code for the Urologist?
