Hi there! Our Urogynecologist did a re-adjustable mechanical external device insertion for intrinsic sphincter deficiency. The patient returned to the office for the next 2 days and the sling was adjusted. Are the adjustments billable and if so, could you provide some guidance, please? Thank you!!

There would be no charge if especially performed within the global surgical period. Outside of the global period it would be included in an E/M service.
