Can anyone clarify as to what COVID-19 "AWAITING FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM POLICY ADMINISTRATOR" mean. I had it understood this is clarification from patient like COB, OR? I have been told differently and i want to make sure. Please advise.

Because the COVID-19 is a relatively new condition, many patients' insurance plans have had to add language and policy to the plan documents to determine what they will cover and how much they will pay for COVID-related services. I would interpret this denial to mean that this particular patient's plan has not yet completed that process and the payer who is administered the plan is waiting for instructions before they can pay the claim.
