Need some help here, does anyone know how to bill for nebulized pentamidine when given in a hospital outpatient department. The HCPCS code J2545 is Pentamidine 300 mg administered through DME, but this isn't being billed through DME. Thanks in advance!
 
Nebulized outpatient. Not going to be billed through DME, the J2545 is a status B code, not recognized by OPPS when billed to Part B. I don't think there is an alternate code so I was wondering how we would bill it. Thank you!
