Hi,

Patient in ASU for Colonoscopy and the MD documented Indication: Screening Colonoscopy and rectal pain

What is the PDX? It's my understanding that if patient has a symptom you code the symptom and/or findings - pt found to have hemorrhoids.

Would hemorrhoids or rectal pain or screening code be PDX?
