Wiki Recommended software

I am working for a large non profit organization that provides mental health services to low income patients.
Can I get some suggestions as to the best software program to use for billing both insurance and patient accounts, scheduling and practice management ?

The company is now using paper for all self pay patients and a billing company for any insurance claims and we would like to bring it all in house.

It may be more useful to tell you what software NOT to use, lol.

I'm new to the behavioral healthcare field and I work for a large not-for-profit agency and the PM software program is Anasazi. Not user-friendly, IMO. PayerPath is the clearinghouse, but I haven't dabbled too much into it yet.

I've had good experience with Navicure's clearinghouse in the past and it's worth looking into. Any vendor should be able to give you a free demo on their services and, of course, always price compare and negotiate when possible.
