One of physician is going to leave the practice for two months. We are considering getting Locum tenens/ reciprocal billing provider to cover until she comes back.
But he's not in all the plans. Does this covering provider must be in the plan to cover absent provider?

The visits covered by the locum will be billed under the provider who is not there. So this is not a concern. Just make sure you use a modifier showing the work was performed by a L.T.
