Radiology CODER - Aviacode is looking for a handful of experienced Radiology coders for a long-term remote coding position, with the opportunity to move to a FTE or supervisory position..

Reports to: Coding Supervisor/Manager
Employment Status: Remote Contracted (1099) Position
Position: PT or FT
Pay: varies per project but is comparable to $20+ an hour.
Hours: Between 15-40+ hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing high quality radiology coding across multiple clients.
This is a 15-40 hour week position.

QUALIFICATIONS
CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
RCCB, RCC or CIRCC preferred, but not required
Must have at least 2 years of active radiology coding experience.
Must include 2 years of Diagnostic Radiology and/or Nuclear Medicine, and/or Interventional Radiology
Must have proof of passing an ICD-10 Proficiency or Readiness Assessment through the AAPC or AHIMA
Must pass Aviacodes internal HCC coding test
Signed contract with Aviacode
Must reside on U.S. Soil

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a CONTRACT position for a long-term project
You will be validating the radiology procedures and coding the ICD-10 from the documentation
Most coders on this project average 50+ charts per hour.
Must complete a certain number of charts per pay period.
Must maintain a 95% accuracy rate.
Mandatory interactive, live-online training required.
You will be paid twice a month on the 10th and 25th. The pay periods go from 1-15 and 16-31.
This is a 1099 position.
Must have a Windows Based Operating System (MAC is not compatible).
If performance is good there is an opportunity to move to a FTE or supervisory position.
