I posted this question on the AAPC blog about QHC and doesn’t look like any of the questions have been answered, but I am going to try and post anyway. I was wondering about Board Registered polysomnographic technologists. Are they considered qualified healthcare professionals? From what I have found I do not believe they would be considered a healthcare professional.
According the a reimbursement guide https://www.brpt.org/about/latest-annual-report/ they state that can bill for office visits 99211-99215 but if they are not considered qualified healthcare professionals than that would not be the case. Thank you in advance!!
