Does anyone know if 97001 or 97110 can be billed on same day as a 99203? I have tried to find something on this with no luck, which makes me think not.

The MD/NPP can bill the 9920X code and no modifier is needed if the patient is sent to PT and the PT does an Eval (97001). Likely the reason you cannot find info as there is no conflict for these codes when billed correctly, as in with the correct provider type.

They would be on two separate claim forms with different rendering providers. If you are trying to bill "incident to" under the physicians name you won't be able to bill both services.
