Our clinic is in a transition period, and our Physical Therapist is leaving our practice. With the news of the Stark Law hitting physicians who have physical therapy housed within their clinic, we are unsure of how this will all pan out. In the meantime, we are wanting to bill our new PT and PTA's under the physicians NPI number.(getting the new PT credentialed with all the Ins Co is just too much of a nightmare in the time frame we have) I am reading alot on the net about the "incident to rule" and am quite honestly confused. Can I bill under the physicians NPI or not? Any help would be apprecitated. Keep er groovy
