Can you bill more than one 96103 per day in addition to an E/M visit/psychiatric evaluation? If so which modifier would you use?

96103 should not be billed more than once per day. I don't believe you should even be billing it on day 2 of it takes more than one day. Its not a per hour code like the other psych testing codes.

*psychiatric diagnostic interview(LCSW)
*E/M
*LEC 5 screening
*PHQ9 screening
*GAD 7 screening
*AUDIT screening
*UDS

For the PHQ-9 and GAD-7, we use CPT code 96127. For the AUDIT, use CPT code 99408/09 and the UDS is a lab test. Hope that helps.
