I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at here. I don't feel any of the pseudoaneurysm repair codes fit this. Any insight would be much appreciated
Post op dx:
Pseudoaneurysm coming from the stented circumflex vein graft in the left chest
Procedure performed:
Bypass; pseudoaneurysm excision with control of disrupted lateral wall of the vein graft.
The pseudoaneurysm was opened and digital pressure was able to control the arterial inflow. Debridement of laminated thrombus from the wall allowed exposure of the base of the aneurysm. A stent was present at the base with about a 1-1.25 cm tear in the lateral wall of the vein graft through which the stent projected. The stent was firmly adherent to the vein and could not be easily remove. The walls of the vein graft were reapproximated using felt pledgeted 5-0 Prolene suture. Four of these were placed with hemostatic control.
