Wiki PRP and focal laser treatments

I have a question regarding PRP and focal laser treatments. They usually require up to three sessions but only the first treatment is charged with a 90-day global. I know that if the other eye is done during the global period, modifier 79 must be appended. My question is how do you process the additional sessions to show that they were done with a zero charge?

If using an EHR, you could attach a "Procedure Only" generic CPT code (99999) for the visits where the subsequent lasers are being done. Obviously this would have a value of $0.00 and would not be billed to insurance. Basically serve as a placeholder, and you would document the laser in the Clinical notes.
