Curious. For those of you who work with productivity measures and accuracy measures, what are those measures?

where I work at, the productivity is at least 29 reports per hour, and no less that 95% accuracy.....

Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm working for a pathology group as their first CPC and as my first coding job. No productivity measures have been in place here. I'm trying to get a general sense of what is common in pathology coding.

May I ask what types of cases you are coding? Hospital surgery, outpatient surgery, dermatology, etc?

We see a lot of dermatology, which generally can be coded fairly quickly. We also see endoscopy and colonoscopy cases, outpatient general and orthopedic surgery, gynecologic surgery, and some other specialites.

we do inpatient and outpatient surgery pathology....do not do much derm path, there a division for that here....lots of endos, colon, transplants..etc...basically everything except derm and autopsy....
