I was told we could no longer bill 29877. If that is the case why is that code still in the CPT book? I work at a free-standing ASC.

Got my answer, 29877 can be billed alone, however it cannot be billed with the other scope codes...

Effective 1/2012 29877 included in CPT 29880/and 29881 and can't bill regardless.
