pt had reduction (by perinatologist) of 1 baby due to anomaly- however, my doctor delivered the deceased fetus at 18 wks. The 2nd fetus is still a viable pregnancy.

should I bill the delivery as 59409?

As we dont find any proper code for the fetal reduction procedure, we did not receive similar charts but, in this case i will suggest "59866" Multifetal pregnancy reduction is the practice of aborting one or more fetuses in a multifetal pregnancy, say quadruplets, to a twin or singleton pregnancy.
