Patient presents for Pre-Op Physical. Provider marks EM 99242. DX Pre-Op PE for Hernia. V72.83 and 553.9. Is this correct?

As long as there is a request for pre-op clearance from the surgeon and a report back to the surgeon from the provider doing the pre-op.
