Wiki Postop Surgery

I was just wondering if it is appropriate for a PA to see a patient after the surgeon has done the surgery for the postop? I am not sure if there are any guidelines where the surgeon must do the first postop or not.

Our PAs routinely do post op follow up visits. I don't believe this would be a problem.
