I need help on a coding issue for postmenopausal patient:
a 51 yrs old female with above active problems who
presents today to discuss menopausal symptoms. Pt complains of hot flashes,
vaginal dryness, irritability, depression, insomnia. She was on bio identical
HRT but did not feel it was helping so she stopped it 4-5 months ago. Pt is
postmenopausal x 3 years.
Would you code this as 627.2 and V07.4 or would you just code it as V07.4? Just need help understanding how to code these types of services.
