Patient came in for bulge at incision. Post operative Kidney Transplant 2 months prior.
On exam, he has a little bulge in the upper aspect of his incision, which I "suspect" is an incisional hernia.
If the diagnosis was truly an incisional hernia would you bill it with a -24 or would you consider it a post operative complication? I kind of feel like it is a new problem. Just want to know what others are doing in this situation.
Thanks!
