Wiki Post-Op services in the office

I work for a very busy hand surgeon who insists that we bill 20670 OR 20680 OR 20694 when a patient comes in post-operatively. We use 99024 as the E&M.

Is this allowable?

depends on what he is doing. Those codes are for removal of implants superficial and deep and removal under anesthesia for external fixation systems. The 20670 sounds like you could code that in the office but the other two sound like something that you would need to go to the OR for.
