Hi all,
I'm new to coding for Surgical Oncology and I am needing feeding back on how similar practices are handling post-op seroma drainage procedures within a 90-day global. It's my understanding that a post-op seroma drainage within a 90-day global procedure period is included in the global unless a return to the OR. We've had some cases where a patient had the drainage procedure performed a few times postoperatively and I'm under the impression this is a "no charge" regardless of how many times the drainage is performed as long as it within the global period. Are you all on the same page with me?
