Can a primary physician charge an office visit during a post op surgical period? Ex. Pt had colonoscopy by a specialist but can 2 days later to his primary doctor for bleeding? Not sure can anyone please advise.

Global period

The global period applies only to the surgeon (or partner in the same practice, same specialty) who performed the procedure.
