Wiki Post op complication

Patient seen in an Urgent Care on a weekend 2 days post mole removal by her PCP for an infection that started in that area. Is there a modifier that needs to added to the E/M? Physician in the Urgent Care is not the same as her PCP. She returned to her PCP for the remainder of post-op care.

As long as the Urgent Care physician is not part of the same physician group/billing under the same NPI, no modifier is necessary.
