Hello all,
patient palpated a lymph node in neck....CT Scan revealed no abnromal lymphadenopathy. The palpable area of the node was very small.
PRE/POST DX: Palpable right neck posterolateral lymph node
Op reads:
Small incision was made over the palpabe area of the lymph node. Dissection was carried down through the platysma where the palpable findings were identified. Dissection then identified the spinal accessory nerve, which was entangled with a small tiny lymph node, which was the node that was identifed on the orginial exam. This was not pathologic and due to its entanglement with the accessory nerve this was abandoned.
I'm looking at 38510-74 DX 785.6 V64.3 rather unlisted???
Thanks
Jamie
