Wiki Possible colon mass

Patient had a follow up colonoscopy for a "possible" colon mass on 8-9-12. He previously had colonoscopy on 12-21-09 that revealed only diverticulosis which was also seen on the present study. Do I use the regular colonoscopy CPT code with a diagnosis of just diverticulosis or is there something else that I should use?

Maybe the symptoms that he was having that made them think he had a mass - abdominal pain, bloating, abnormal x-ray, etc. Hope this helps!
