Hello,
Can anyone confirm please....??? I was told that POS 81 should be used when a test is referred out to another laboratory. However, the only thing I found is that modifier 90 should be appended on the claim and the rendering lab CLIA, NPI, and address should be on the claim. POS 81 should be used when the patient goes to a PSC. Please confirm or clarify.. I am new to clinical lab billing.
