I have a patient that had a colonoscopy and the doctor removed a polyp. The pathology report analysis came back as "prominent mucosal fold". I've seen this before but does anyone have any suggestions on what DX to us?
The patient was there for a screening, so I always put my V76.51 as primary but I feel guilty about assigning 211.3 as I don't think that constitutes a "benign neoplasm".
Thanks!
