I need to re-take a test and make 100% and I can't find anyone that can tell me what the answer is to a question I missed.
This is a clinic note. PERSONNEL placed a cast on the wrist of a woman.
Dr saw woman same day in clinic, she was an established patient, did not do surgery on wrist, was just a hair line fracture. Woman is going out of town and will come back to see physician for follow up of wrist. There was enough documentation for a 99213. It mentioned a second time cast placed by PERSONNEL.
Do I just code an E&M or do I code a cast code. Very confused since personnel placed cast and I don't have ortho background. Please help appreciate anyone's assistance.
