Does anyone know what CPT code would be used for a plantar exostectomy?
The plantar skin incision was deepened using a combination of sharp and blunt dissection down to the level of the prominent exostosis taking great care to retract the skin and neurovascular structures and cauterize bleeders as necessary. Next a plantar exostosis was present and use of curved osteotomy and prominent bone was removed and sharp edges power rasped, all scar tissue was removed as well.
