Does anyone have suggestions for the CPT for this procedure:
"The patient was positioned on left side and prepped and draped in the usual sterile fashion. Local anesthesia was administered. A small incision was made and the 10 gauge introducer/tunneler was inserted to the rib 2 inches lateral and to the left of the spine and advanced up along the ribs in the paracostal location. The catheter was inserted into the introducer and the introducer was removed leaving the catheter in place at a length of 10 inches. The catheter was secured with Derma-bond and ster-strips."
Our physician did no other surgery that this could be bundled into. He did not insert any device either, just placed the paracostal infusion catheter. Thanks!
