We have an office who is looking to do PICC line insertions in the patients home? Has anyone had luck with this?

Also do you know if a RN, NP or PA can bill for this? Or does the Dr need to supervise? (ex: Dr is at the hospital seeing a patient and the nurse is in the office to do the insertion)

My office is now looking into billing for providers who provide these services in nursing homes. What has been you experience since this post? Is it hard to get paid?
