Does anyone know if you can bill a PA's services if there is no supervising Physician in the building?

You will need to check the PA scope of practice for your state. Each state has different rules regarding the supervision of PA's. As far as for billing purposes, that will depend on the payer. For medicare, if you are billing under the PA's NPI, then no, it is not required, however if you are billing under the MD's NPI, then yes they are required to be in the same building on the same floor.

Agree with Cheermom, and make sure you complete all NPI/Taxonomy paperwork for CMS and your clearinghouse (if any)
