SCENARIO:
Patient stops walking for physical therapist at outpatient facility A. Appointment is scheduled with the patient's orthopedist at outpatient facility B. PT from facility A attends the appointment with the patient in order to coordinate and report the patient's declining status.
QUESTION:
Is there a CPT code to accurately report and bill for the physical therapist's services provided on this visit? We are concerned also because the place of occurrence is different than facility A.
