Wiki Percutaneous vertebral augmentation and J codes

I did not know whether or not to include a line item for conscious sedation (99144) and J-codes for IV medications administered during procedure (i.e. Versed, Fentanyl, Toradol....)
Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards.

Are you billing for the facility or physician?

If you're billing for the physician you can't bill conscious sedation is included in the vertebral augmentation codes.
If I remember correctly, from my Pain Management experience, in order for a surgeon to bill for conscious sedation, the surgeon must be a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. I could be wrong though.
