We have an anesthesia group, both MD and CRNA, performing services as inpatient as well as outpatient, and we were wondering how other groups are handling the anesthesia charges.
1.How are the CRNA cases for PA Medicaid handled and are they reimbursed?
*charges with CRNA alone=are they all adjusted off?
*charges with both MD and CRNA on the case***how are these charges billed to Medicaid?
2.How are the anesthesia services for procedures in outpatient settings handled? Per Medicaid they don't pay 22 POS.
