I am trying to find out how to code 11900 in a pediatric setting. My provider wants to do wart removal with the MMR vaccine. We were told that the correct CPT code is 11900 for the injection. Would we also bill the MMR vaccine cost and modifier 51? Does anyone have experience with this? I have heard that dermatologist do this and get paid. I just need to know if it's a worth doing financially. Vaccines are so expense, I hate to waste one as a test. Also is this billed separately from the E&M code or is it bundled?
