Wiki PCS coding and payor reimbursement

Hello:

Does anyone know when coding PCS codes for hospital Ambulatory Surgery charts what influence does the PCS coding have on reimbursement by payors? Are there RVU's involved?

PCS codes are for inpatient procedures only. You will not be using these for an ambulatory surgery setting.
