Wiki PCNL w/ Dilation of Ureteral Stricture?

Hi! This patient is status post left PCN placement and has a left ureteral stone and left ureteral stricture. At first I thought this would be 50080 and possibly 50575, but need some help. The provider states "proceedure performed" is a left renal endoscopy with left ureteroscpy with holium laser lithotripsy, Dilation of left ureteral stricture and placement of left ureteral stent. Please see note below. Thanks!

I would suggest the following coding for your clinical scenario:
50953 for the antegrade ureteral dilation and stent passage,
50961 for the antegrade treatment of the ureteral stone and its removal,
50957 for the incision of the vesicoureteral stricture
52000 for the cystoscopy

Thank you very much!! Could you please tell me why the ureteral endoscopy codes are used instead of the percutaneous/nephrostomy tube codes? I learn a lot from you.
