Hi all! A friend who works for a nephrology office in NY has asked for my help looking for coverable diagnoses for some labs her doctor routinely orders. They're finding that these labs are getting denied when they're done by Quest, for patients with Medicare. I've looked for LCDs and NCDs on the CMS website, and I've looked at Quest as well. I was able to find one article for one of the tests. But none of the others. Any ideas?
Tests I can't find information on:
86036 - ANCA (Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, screening)
82784 - Immunoglobulin M (IgM)
86255 - PLA 2 R Ab (Phospholipase A2 Receptor, Screening)
83695 - Lipoprotein
83516 - GBM Ab (Glomerular Basement Membrane Antibody)
83521 - Kappa Lambda Light Chains
