changes will take place January 1st 2014 for CPT code 88342 and a subset of CPT code 88305. As I understand it, CPT code 88342 will continue to be used for non-government payors but new codes G0461 and G0462 will need to be used for Medicare/Medicaid. Likewise, CPT code 88305 for a series of prostate biopsies totaling more than 10 will require a G code for Medicare/Medicaid. Does anyone know where I can get more information?
