Hello, any feedback is appreciated.. our hospital based pathologist receives a muscle biopsy specimen..he finely divides tissue then tissue is fixed in glutaraldehyde for electron microscopy to be sent to another institution. According to Dennis Padget, if we are reading correctly our doc cannot charge anything-- not even a 88300 for preparing. Only a 88329 if he actually did an intra-op for adequacy ( which he does not for these muscle biopsies.. not during the operation)
Is there another charge we could be capturing this process our docs perform?
