Are the pathology services performed by pathologist assistants billable? They are similar to physician assistants, but are not licensed by a medical or nursing board. They are certified by the American Assosiation of Pathologists Assistants. I found the Scope of Practice and it is pretty robust, but cannot find information regarding billable services.
