hello,
im still in school to become a coder but I will be coding path reports when I pass the certification exam... I've tried my hand at some of them already and some of them seem difficult to code (like thyroid)...is there a book/manual/guide I can get to help me understand that after I pass the exam?
thanks!

Denis Padget's "Pathology Service Coding Handbook" is excellent and very detailed, but also quite pricey. Our pathology group pays for the membership. This resource was recently purchased from Padget by The American Pathology Foundation: www.apf.org. Would your future employer be willing to pay for your membership?

Does anyone else have other resources they could share?

dont get overly discouraged. as with anything, once you do it for a while, it really is not that bad...padget is a good resource, but not all telling...ive been coding path for about a year now and it really isnt bad at all...you will be fine.
