Wiki Pallitive Care Billing

Hi,

My doctor was asked to do a Pallitive care consult at the hospital. During that consult she recommended that the patient be put on inpatient hospice. Hospice signed the patient up the same day.

How do I bill for this as the insurance company is stating that the patient was on hospice and won't pay the visit.

Also, the doctor is the director of hospice.

Any suggestions??
