Looking for some input from everyone who has coded for palliative care. My physician office is a multi practice facility (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Inf Disease, Cardio, etc). We have a group of providers who have become versed in rendering Palliative Care services to our patients who are homebound and unable to come to practice for medical services. Can you shed some light on the specialties which are allowed to perform Palliative services? We are thinking of bring on a pastoral services person and was wondering if that person is allowed to bill for Palliative services? If anyone has any information, guidance and/or cheat sheets, I would appreciate any guidance! Thank to everyone for your wisdom
