Wiki Pallative care modifier

I am looking for guidance on a Pallative care. Here is my internal medicine practice, when we see a hospice patient, we use the modifier GV on the E/M. My question is do i need to add this modifier if patient is getting Pallative care. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
